The Department of Public Health Dentistry of Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University conducted oral health screening and treatment program on 29^th November 2021 at Caleb Institute Farrukhnagar under the aegis of Medical Superintendent, SGT Medical Hospital & Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences. The Dental team took initiative under the guidance of Dr. Shourya Tandon (Prof. & Head and Associate Dean). The Dental team was headed by Dr. Abhinav Bhargava (Senior Lecturer) along with 3 Postgraduates Dr Prerna, Dr Harender and Dr Harjit and 4 Interns (Sandeep, Poonam, Siddhant and Shweta) and 2 attendants Sunil and Sombir. Specialist Clinical support was provided by Departments of Periodontology and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. 61 patients were examined out of which 17 were provided dental treatment in the mobile dental van. Patients who required complex dental treatment were referred to SGT University for further procedures. Oral health education was imparted to the people and proper brushing technique was demonstrated. The purpose of the Oral Health check-up was to create awareness among the community and make them understand the importance of oral health care.
