CAMP REPORT
OUTREACH ACTIVITY ON 23RD FEBRUARY 2022 AT MAU VILLAGE, PATAUDI
An oral health screening camp was organized by Department of Public Health Dentistry, Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University on 23rd February 2022 at village Mau, Pataudi in association with SGT Publicity Team. The Dental team took initiative under the guidance of Dr. Shourya Tandon (Prof. & Head and Associate Dean). The Dental team was headed by Dr. Tanvi Bhardwaj along with 1 intern, Nikhil and 1 attendant Mr. Sunil. 30 patients were examined and patients who required dental treatment were referred to SGT University. Oral health education was imparted to the people and proper brushing technique was demonstrated. The general population gave a positive feedback and appreciated the check up and patient care provided by the Dental Team . They acknowledged the way the Dental team heard and attended to their problems with compassion The intern appreciated the opportunity provided to them to work in an outreach location and expressed their wish to participate in such activities in the future . The purpose of the Oral Health check-up was to create awareness among the community and make them understand the importance of oral health.
