DENTAL CAMP REPORT

OUTREACH ACTIVITY 25^TH FEBRUARY 2022

BASPADAMKA VILLAGE CAMP

The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University conducted oral health screening camp on 25^th February 2022 (Friday) at Baspadamka village Pataudi under the aegis of Medical Superintendent, SGT Medical Hospital & Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences and SGT Publicity Team. The Dental team took initiative under the guidance of Dr. Shourya Tandon (Prof. & Head and Associate Dean). The Dental team was headed by Dr. Abhinav Bhargava (Senior Lecturer, Department of Public Health Dentistry) along with 1 Intern Ms. Manya and 1 attendant Mr. Raj Kumar. A total of 36 patients including 11 males and 25 females were examined. Patients who required complex dental treatment were referred to SGT Dental Hospital for further procedures. Oral health education was imparted to the people and proper brushing technique was demonstrated. The general population gave positive feedback and appreciated the check up and patient care provided by the Dental Team. They acknowledged the way the Dental team heard and attended to their problems with compassion The purpose of the Oral Health check-up was to create awareness among the community and make them understand the importance of oral health.
