↳ FRESHER’S PARTY TITLED "INITIUM 2022"

The students of Second year BDS organized a Freshers’ Party “INITIUM 2022” to welcome the Batch of 2021, under the guidance of Dept. of Conservative & Endodontics. The purpose of the Freshers Party was to make every new student feel connected as an integral part of the SGT family and be ready to take on the challenges of the year ahead. The event was packed with tremendous performances like Bhangra, Fashion show, Lazy Dance, bollywood dance, skit and many more. All the students introduced themselves and were also given the chance to showcase their talents. All awards were given by the jury to the respective students, with the trophies to all, including sash and gifts.

↳ SYNERGY 2019 - 10th -12th October 2019
Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics presented projects in technofest “SYNERGY 2019”. The PG students and the Faculty of Conservative & Endodontics showcased the innovative project “ENDO VACTIVATOR: Smart Irrigation For Smart Results.” This device provides a cost effective, more efficient and a safe method of irrigation that aids in the success of routine root canal treatment.

↳ Inauguration of ‘Centre for Microscopic Enhanced Dentistry' on 17th Jan 2019
SGT University was gratified by the benign presence of President of Dental Council of India ‘Honorable Dr. Dibyendu Mazumder. Dr. Mazumder inaugurated two of SGT's prominent centers namely ‘Centre for Microscopic Enhanced Dentistry' housing several clinical dental operating microscopes and Centre for 'Maxillofacial Imaging' housing CBCT imaging system.  In his speech he praised Dr. Mandeep S. Greawl  for his diligence and sincerity he put for the excellence of Faculty of Dental Sciences. In the presence of honorable chairman of SGT university, the management committee and other eminent faculty members, it was an interesting session in which Shree Mazumder appreciated SGT’s Faculty of dental sciences, its infrastructure and hoped that it will embark on the path of further development. He applauded the pioneering and egalitarian job done by the SGT's Faculty of Dental Sciences in bringing dental care to rural India . All together it was an eventful and enlightening assemblage of best minds in the field of Dental sciences present in our country.

↳ SYNERGY 2018 — 10th - 12th October 2018
SYNERGY 2018 is an annual science and technology festival of SGT University.
Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics presented projects in technofest “SYNERGY 2018” with the objective to educate and create awareness amongst general public about the importance of preserving their original teeth and introduce them to recent advances in the field of dentistry.
Three projects were presented by the Faculty of Conservative Dentistry and PG students.
     1. Fate of Dislodged teeth
     2. Dental Stem Cells – Sources, Preservation And Future
     3. Recent Advances In Esthetic Dentistry-
              • No Prep Veneer Concept
              • Minimal Invasive Treatment Protocol For Discoloration Of Fluorosed Teeth- “Icon”

↳ SYNERGY 2017--- 10th -12th November 2017
SYNERGY 2017 is very first edition of science and technology festival of SGT University.
Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics presented projects in technofest “SYNERGY 2017” with the objective to educate general public about the treatment procedures undertaken in the department and how recent advances in technology has helped in the saving the original teeth.
Two projects were presented by the Faculty and PG students of the department.

↳ Placement drive by axiss
Recuitment interviews were held by Axiss Dental Private Limited by respected CEO DR. Amit Sachdeva on 4th APRIL for Post graduates students as well as passed BDS Students in the SGT University campus to work in their chains private clinics in delhi, NCR. . ↳Campus interview by Clove India limited.
The delegates from Clove india limited visited SGT University Campus, faculty of dental sciences on 14th march 2016 for placements of Exam going MDS students and all pass out MDS and BDS students for their dental clinics across NCR. It was highly appreciated by the Students for being the only institution giving them an opportunity to get their jobs secured even before their exams.  View Image Click Here

↳ Advisory board of studies meet was held on 3rd march in the department with DR.Ajay Logani ( Additional Professor ,AIIMS) as the external expert and DR. MS Sidhu ( Director PG Studies) as an internal expert. The meeting was attended by all the faculty members. The agenda of the meeting was planning and modification of UG and PG Curriculum followed by discussions of research projects prepared by the MDS faculty of the department . ↳ The department of conservative dentistry was fortunate enough to have a visit of Dr Amit Sachdeva on 21st September who came as a chief guest in fresher fiesta 2015. He is a CEO of axis dental popular chain of dental clinic across country.

↳ HEALTH MELA and CAMPUS VISIT was organized by SGT UNIVERSITY on 17th December 2015 wherein around 4000 students from various schools had visited Dept. of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Faculty of Dental Sciences.
