Advanced Stomato-diagnostician Association, Faculty of Dental Sciences under the aegis of Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, SGT University organized a guest lecture on Lasers in Oral Medicine on 24th March 2023 from 10:00 A.M. to 11: 00 A.M. at TV studio, B- block, FDS, SGT University followed by Hands on training on LASERS in Department of Oral medicine and Radiology for the Undergraduate students, Interns and Post-Graduate students.The programme included a Lecture about the basic principle and applications of Laser followed by a live demonstration of the use of laser (Biolase) for the treatment of peripheral ossifying fibroma. This was followed by hands-on training for the use of laser equipment by the students on a chicken leg and tomatoes to understand the laser incision and ablation procedures. The program was introduced by Dr. Astha Chaudhry, Professor and Incharge, Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology. The programme was overall coordinated by Dr Vishesh Yadav, Reader and Dr Kajal Malhotra, Senior Lecturer, Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology. The guest lecture was attended physically by BDS students, Interns, Post Graduate students and Faculty members.
