Advanced Stomato-diagnostician Association, under the aegis of Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University is organizing a Webinar on “𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆” on 26th February 2022 by Dr. Vineetha R, Professor and Head, Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, MCODS, Manipal, Karnataka. Interested Faculty members, Post Graduate students, Interns and final year BDS students are invited to attend the Webinar. Dr. Vineetha R talked about various aspects of clinical evaluation, diagnosis as well as investigations in relation with Pediatric Patients. She also covered various modifications needed for clinical examination and while taking radiographs in pediatric patients.
The program was introduced by Dr. Komal Sharma, Senior Lecturer, Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology who was coordinator of the program. Dr Astha Chaudhry, Associate Professor and In-charge, Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology who was the Organizing Chairperson gave the welcome address and introduced the speaker.
Dr Omkar Krishna Shetty, Dean, Faculty of Dental Sciences graced the occasion and gave his valuable and insightful remarks.
The session witnessed a very enthusiastic interaction between panelists Dr Shourya Tandon, Associate Dean, Faculty of Dental Sciences, Dr Keerthilatha M Pai, Dean, MCODS, Manipal and Dr Anil Gupta, Professor and Head, Department of Pedodontics, Faculty of Dental Sciences.
The webinar was attended both physically and virtually by over 180 participants mainly Undergraduate students, Interns, Post Graduate students and Faculty members inhouse as well as from various Dental colleges across the Nation including Government Dental College, Jaipur and Hyderabad, Aligarh Muslim University, Dr D Y Patil Vidyapeeth, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Seema Dental College, Amrita School of Dentistry, MCODS Manipal and many more. International participation from University of Malaysia was also witnessed.
Following the talk, the participants asked their queries which were answered by the speaker with great zeal and enthusiasm. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Shruti Vijay, 2 nd Year Post Graduate student, Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology who is the member of the Academic Association.
